This year the alumni chapter will have their first virtual Prayer Summit. Proceeds from the Prayer Summit contribute to scholarships and development of nurses attending PVAMU College of Nursing, which has produced some of the best nurses during its one hundred year legacy.
Alumni, PV nursing students need your support to help them navigate uncharted waters and support them in achieving their goals.
This mentorship program gives alumni and current students the opportunity to connect.
When Houston hospitals began filling up in recent weeks because of the intensified battle with COVID-19, the “calvary” arrived by the hundreds.
Who are these health care heroes? Nurses.
The pandemic has amplified the importance of the health workers who take care of patients at the bedside, in nursing homes, in clinics, in educational settings and almost everywhere else.
We have a wonderful opportunity to celebrate YOU and the work you do every day as a professional nurse. The PVAMU Marketing and Communications Department is featuring a story for World Health Day by publishing an article highlighting nurses.
Dr. Betty N. Adams, Dean of the College of Nursing is asking that you share your story to celebrate our 100 year history. Please click the link below and fill the form out before January 1, 2020:
